An­nelouise Crooks of King of Prus­sia

An­nelouise M. “An­nie” and “Grandie” (Peter­son) Crooks passed away peace­fully on Wed­nes­day, May 8, 2018 at her res­i­dence in King of Prus­sia, PA. She was 70.

Mrs. Crooks earned her Mas­ter’s in Ed­u­ca­tion from West Ch­ester Uni­ver­sity and worked as a teacher for the Marple New­town School District.

An­nie was a vo­ra­cious reader and en­joyed pho­tog­ra­phy and po­etry. She was known for cro­chet­ing afghans for most who knew her, and those who didn’t, es­pe­cially chil­dren at Bryn Mawr Hos­pi­tal Pe­di­atrics. She loved her time in Sea Isle City and trav­el­ing the world on cruises. An­nie was very gen­er­ous in spirit and loved host­ing din­ner and Domi­noes with her fam­ily and friends.

Born in Darby, PA on Septem­ber 1, 1947, she was the daugh­ter of the late Fran­cis and He­len Marie (Stief) Peter­son. Sur­viv­ing is her lov­ing fam­ily in­clud­ing her hus­band of 44 years, Robert Crooks; a daugh­ter, Kaci Vec­chio and her hus­band, Chris, of Phil­a­del­phia, PA; a son, Kevin R. Crooks and his wife, El­iz­a­beth, of Phil­a­del­phia, PA; three grand­chil­dren: Cor­mac, Orla and Carter; two brothers, Michael Peter­son and his wife, Gail, of Haver­town, PA and Mark Peter­son and his wife, Su­san, of Duxbury, Mass; and many other lov­ing fam­ily mem­bers.

The fam­ily will re­ceive rel­a­tives and friends at The Bac­chi Fu­neral Home & Cre­ma­tory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., (Rt. 202), Bridge­port, PA 19405 on Sun­day, May 20, 2018 from 9 to 11:00 am.
