John J. Lauro, formerly of Norristown

John J. Lauro, age 87 of Millsboro, DE, formerly of Norristown, PA, passed away peacefully with his wife and close friends by his side on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at his home.

He was born in Norristown, PA on March 1, 1931 son of the late Samuel and Adaline (Perna) Lauro Sr.

John retired as a tractor-trailer driver for Wonder Bread in 1995 and then he and his wife owned and operated the Sunshine Café in Limerick, PA, until 1999.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Samuel Lauro Jr.

John is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Joann (Shoemaker) Lauro; four children, John P. Lauro, Diane M. Lynch, James M. DeCarlo and his wife, Dawn and Darlene M. DeCarlo and her husband, Scott Harrison; five siblings, Louise Silvestro, Joseph Lauro and his wife, Anna Marie, Rose Hamilton, Maryanne Cagliola and Richard Lauro and his wife, Naomi; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
