Wednesday, June 7

3 p.m. A resident of Bella Vista reported an electronic tablet was accidental­ly left at a local restaurant and they have not been able to find it. The tablet is reported as a NuVision tablet, 10.1 inches in size.

Sunday, June 11

9:24 p.m. Police were dispatched to a one-vehicle accident on Patterson Road involving a vehicle driven by Amy K. Warren, 30, Garfield. the vehicle ran off the road hitting two mailboxes and a water shut off housing unit.

Monday, June 12

5 p.m. Police were dispatched to Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic in reference to an animal call. A resident of Weston Street reported finding a dog wandering in the area of Slack Street and Dove Road.

Tuesday, June 13

1 p.m. During security checks prior to Pea Ridge Court, police discovered a female in possession of a small pepper spray bottle; she was told she could not enter building with the spray and became argumentat­ive. As a result of the investigat­ion, police cited Kathleen Duprey, 58, Pea Ridge, for disorderly conduct.

1 p.m. Police “made a consensual contact” with a subject who was sitting in a vehicle at Pea Ridge District Court parking lot. As a result of the investigat­ion, police arrested Steven Stoubaugh, 27, Pea Ridge, for non-financial identity fraud and on a warrant for theft of property.

3:30 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Chitwood for a report of dogs left behind after residents moved out. Police found a male and female Pit Bull and 11 newborn puppies (one of which was dead). As a result of the investigat­ion, police cited Gene Bateman, 35, Pineville, Mo., for cruelty to animals.

7:16 p. m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Hayden Road for a motorvehic­le accident from which the driver had fled the scene. A witness reported seeing a blue Chrysler PT Cruiser run into the wooden fence on property on Hayden Road. As a result of the investigat­ion, police found the vehicle and driver three miles north of the accident scene and arrested Amber N. Morgan, 29, Washburn, Mo., for DWI, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and careless and prohibited driving.

7:33 p.m. As the result of an investigat­ion into a one-vehicle accident, police arrested Deborah Beard, 24, Pea Ridge, for DWI-drugs, no proof of insurance, careless and prohibited and refusal to submit.

Thursday, June 15

8:13 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Choate Place Circle for a stray dog that was not aggressive. The female blue heeler mix was taken to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

10:09 a.m. The general manager of Sonic reported receiving a counterfei­t $10 bill in payment for an order.

1:30 p.m. A resident of Cardin Road turned in a stray black lab. The dog was taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic; the owner was located and notified.

Friday, June 16

9:22 a.m. Police were advised of a possible“escaped schizophre­nic” who purportedl­y escaped from a hospital and was possibly in Pea Ridge. He was found hiding in the outside restroom of Sonic. As a result of the investigat­ion, police arrested Tevan Dominique Ortiz, 19, Pea Ridge, for drunken, insane, or disorderly persons.

Sunday, June 18

8 a.m. Police were advised of three dogs roaming in the area of Lindsey and Carr streets. The dogs were picked up and taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.
