Satur­day, Sept. 2

11:40 a.m. Po­lice were no­ti­fied of a reck­less driver on North Cur­tis Av­enue. As a re­sult of the in­ves­ti­ga­tion, po­lice ar­rested Lena Marie Stru­ble, 41, Lin­coln, Ark., for pos­ses­sion of Sch. I or II and no proof of in­sur­ance.

Mon­day, Sept. 4

4:45 p.m. Po­lice were dis­patched to a res­i­dence on Smith Street for a stray dog. A res­i­dent said the dog had been there all day. The Pea Ridge Street De­part­ment was con­tacted to trans­port the dog to the vet clinic.

7:22 p.m. Po­lice were dis­patched to the area of Cardin Road and South Cur­tis Av­enue for a road rage in­ci­dent that es­ca­lated into a dis­tur­bance, ac­cord­ing to po­lice. As a re­sult of the in­ves­ti­ga­tion, po­lice cited Mayanne Sims, 29, Garfield, for dis­or­derly con­duct.

Tues­day, Sept. 5

8:10 a.m. While at­tempt­ing to serve a war­rant at a res­i­dence on Van Dorn Street, po­lice ap­pre­hended Amanda Marie Fowler 38, Rogers, and ar­rested her for felony pos­ses­sion of meth or co­caine and a war­rant from the Arkansas Board of Pa­role.

10 a.m. Po­lice re­ceived a re­port of a blue pas­sen­ger car that passed a stopped school bus this morn­ing. The stop sign and red flash­ing lights were ac­ti­vated, ac­cord­ing to the bus driver. The in­ci­dent hap­pened out­side the city lim­its so po­lice gave the in­for­ma­tion to Ben­ton County Sher­iff ’s Of­fice.

1:45 p.m. While on pa­trol, po­lice ob­served a male and fe­male stand­ing in the mid­dle of the street talk­ing in front of a res­i­dence on Van Dorn. As a re­sult of the in­ves­ti­ga­tion, po­lice ar­rested Michael Shane Pax­ton, 32, Rogers, who re­sisted ar­rest re­sult­ing in an in­jury to one of the of­fi­cers. Pax­ton was charged with felony pos­ses­sion of meth or co­caine, felony pos­ses­sion of drug para­pher­na­lia, felony war­rant from an­other agency and re­sist­ing ar­rest.

3:30 p.m. Po­lice took a re­port of a two-ve­hi­cle ac­ci­dent in the park­ing lot at the high school in­volv­ing two ju­ve­niles who had backed out of park­ing spa­ces at the same time and into one an­oth­ers’ ve­hi­cles There was no dam­age to ei­ther ve­hi­cle. Nei­ther driver wanted a re­port; school of­fi­cials said school pol­icy re­quires a re­port.

4:35 p.m. Po­lice were dis­patched to a res­i­dence on Luke Street for a theft of wa­ter re­port. The res­i­dent said that while she was out of town, it ap­peared that 5,000 gal­lons of wa­ter was used on one day and 6,000 on an­other day.

Wed­nes­day, Sept. 6

11:34 a.m. Po­lice were dis­patched to a res­i­dence on McCul­loch Street for a med­i­cal call and then were alerted the in­ci­dent was a dis­tur­bance. None of the par­ties in­volved wished to press charges and there were no in­juries.

2:43 p.m. As a re­sult of a traf­fic stop, po­lice ar­rested James M. Brown, 53, De­catur, for pos­ses­sion of a con­trolled sub­stance for a Sch. II nar­cotic (felony), pos­ses­sion of a con­trolled sub­stance Sch. VI nar­cotic and pos­ses­sion of drug para­pher­na­lia.

5:17 p.m. Po­lice were dis­patched to a two-ve­hi­cle ac­ci­dent on South Cur­tis Av­enue near the Fire Sta­tion in­volv­ing ve­hi­cles driven by Teisha Rene Weisen­fels 32, Pea Ridge, and David L. Davis, 28, Pow­ell, Mo. As a re­sult of the in­ves­ti­ga­tion, Davis was taken into cus­tody for driv­ing on a sus­pended driver’s li­cense and cited for care­less and pro­hib­ited driv­ing, no proof of in­sur­ance and driver’s li­cense sus­pended.

8:52 p.m. As a re­sult of an in­ves­ti­ga­tion into a re­port of a reck­less driver, po­lice ar­rested Stephen M. Douothit, 42, Bella Vista, for DWI.

Thurs­day, Sept. 7

2:50 p.m. As a re­sult of a traf­fic stop, po­lice ar­rested David W. Bar­num, 41, Pea Ridge, for war­rants from Low­ell and Pea Ridge. He was turned over to Low­ell Po­lice.

Fri­day, Sept. 8

9:55 a.m. Po­lice were dis­patched to McDon­ald’s for a re­port of an in­jury ac­ci­dent in­volv­ing a ve­hi­cle and a bi­cy­clist from which the ve­hi­cle fled the scene. The sus­pect ve­hi­cle was a newer model, gold, four-door pas­sen­ger ve­hi­cle. The vic­tim, Carl Lee Brad­shaw, 30, Pea Ridge, de­clined to be trans­ported by medics.

3:27 p.m. Po­lice were dis­patched to a non-in­jury mo­tor-ve­hi­cle ac­ci­dent on North Cur­tis Av­enue in­volv­ing ve­hi­cles driven by Chan­cel Pike 66, Rogers, and Sh­eryl Ann Bron­son, 59, Rogers. Bron­son was cited for care­less and pro­hib­ited driv­ing and no proof of in­sur­ance.
