Cos­tume con­test planned at li­brary

Hello, Pea Ridge friends. Happy Oc­to­ber! It’s a very ex­cit­ing month here at the li­brary. Most im­por­tantly on Oct. 31, we will have a Hal­loween cos­tume con­test. Dress up at your fa­vorite book char­ac­ter. Please come to the li­brary at 4:30 p.m.and we will have judges at 4:45 p.m. pick the best ones out of five cat­e­gories: 4 and younger, 5 to 10 years old, 11 to 17 years old and fam­ily.

Ev­ery Wed­nes­day we have a won­der­ful story time that we are now call­ing Mrs. Car­rie’s Tod­dler Sto­ry­time.

Other meet­ings are:

• Lego Club, 1:30-5 p.m. Oct. 9;

• Open Color, all day, Oct. 11;

• Minecraft self­ies, 4 p.m. Oct. 13;

• Origami Club, 4 p.m. Oct. 19;

• Homeschool Art Class, 9:30 a.m. Oct. 20;

• Satur­day Sci­en­tist, noon Oct. 21;

• Pump­kin paint­ing, 4 p.m. Oct. 24;

• Free yoga, 6:30 p.m. Oct. 25;

• Straw weav­ing, 11 a.m. Oct. 30.

The li­brary is tak­ing ap­pli­ca­tions for any­one out­go­ing in­di­vid­u­als who would like to work part­time in a won­der­ful at­mos­phere.

The Friends of the Pea Ridge Li­brary will have their meet­ing at 6 p.m. Oct. 10 in the li­brary. This meet­ing is open to the pub­lic and is a fan­tas­tic op­por­tu­nity for any pas­sion­ate vol­un­teers to be a part of.
