Sunday, Oct. 1
12:06 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Ana E. Davila 42, Rogers, for DWI, drove left of center, drove off roadway right, expired vehicle license.
12:48 p.m. A resident of Washburn Street reported a burglary involving tools missing from a garage.
6:56 p.m. A resident of Pea Ridge transported a dog to the police station after it jumped into her car while it was parked at the Walmart Neighborhood Market.
Monday, Oct. 2
No time provided — As a result of an investigation at a residence on Van Dorn Street, police arrested a 17-yearold male for third-degree assault and disorderly conduct and a 16-year-old male for obstructing governmental operations.
1 p.m. A school employee reported that items had been dumped illegally in the Middle School dumpster. On Oct. 3, police were on a traffic stop with a man who matched the description of the suspect. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Ronald J. Vizenza, 36, Pea Ridge, for illegal dumping.
10:38 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Jesse Lena Marie Banks, 21, Pineville, Mo., on a Pea Ridge warrant for failure to pay and a Rogers warrant and Angel Lee McDonald, 27, Pineville, Mo., on a warrant from Rogers.
Tuesday, Oct. 3
10:10 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Choate Place for a found dog. Police contacted the Street Department to transport the dog to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.
1:09 p.m. Police were dispatched to the area of Crawford and Slack streets for a two-vehicle accident. Amitty Fryar, 34, Pea Ridge, told police she was west bound on Slack Street and could not stop in time to avoid striking the vehicle driven by Maria Estrada, 28, Springdale, who was stopped preparing to turn south. There were two passengers in Estrada’s vehicle.
Wednesday, Oct. 4
1 p.m. A resident of Bowen Street reported theft of a ring. On Oct. 4, the ring was found and the complainant did not want to press charges.
3:27 p.m. Police received a report of theft involving a golf cart received as a pawned item that was discovered to have been stolen from Clear Creek Golf Carts, Rogers. The incident is under investigation.
6:04 p.m. Police took a report of a two-vehicle accident at Oakley and Slack streets involving vehicles driven by Robin A. Hudson, 57, Pea Ridge, and Rafael A. Martinez, 31, Springdale. Martinez was cited for no driver’s license and careless and prohibited driving.
Thursday, Oct. 5
8:19 a.m. Police were dispatched to Lee Street for a non-aggressive stray dog. Police called for a city worker to pick up the dog, according to the report. It was placed in the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.
Friday, Oct. 6
8:08 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Van Dorn Street for an unattended death of a 71-year-old male.
No time provided — As a result of an investigation at Pea Ridge High School, police arrested a 15-year-old male for third-degree battery.
1:30 p.m. As a result of information received, police cited Bradley Womack, 31, Rogers, for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and confiscated marijuana and a pipe.
Saturday, Oct. 7
8:55 a.m. A resident of Fields Cove reported a stray dog was at her house. At the request of police, the resident transported the dog to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.
11:40 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police cited Cheri Lynn Hobkirk 47, Pea Ridge, for suspended driver’s license, fictitious tags, failure to register and no proof of insurance. The vehicle was towed and impounded by Erwin’s Tow Service.
4:41 p.m. As a result of an investigation from information received, police found numerous dogs unattended inside a residence on Hayden Road. Police contacted employees of the Street Department to transport the dogs to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic to be boarded. The investigation is ongoing concerning cruelty to animals.
