The downtown businesses of Milford Presents will host the 10th annual Share the Harvest party Monday to benefit the local Ecumenical Food Pantry.
In addition to the kitchens that have participated since the first fundraiser in 2008 — including Fretta’s Italian Specialties, Hotel Fauchere and the Waterwheel Cafe, Bakery & Bar — Peter and Sharon Daniel of the Fork at Twin Lakes will join the party for the first time with their signature chicken with black bean sauce. And 403 Broad Street will serve up meatballs al sugo with opal basil and pecorina sardo. Milford Farmers Market favorite vegan chef Diana Bezanski of Fogwood & Fig will serve a scrumptious seasonal red lentil and poblano chili topped with smashed avocado.
The buffet-style dinner will take place at St. Patrick’s Church Hall in Milford. Guitarist Leo B will provide music from 6 to 9 p.m., the duration of the dinner. Only 150 tickets will be sold for the event. Tickets are $30 for a single or $50 a couple.
To participate in Share the Harvest, donate to the food pantry, volunteer at the party or reserve a table for your party of eight, call event coordinator Amy Eisenberg at 570-296-5662 or visit milfordpa.us.
