Deb­bie Con­nors Klens, 65, of Scran­ton, died Satur­day morn­ing at Al­lied Skilled Nurs­ing Cen­ter af­ter an ill­ness.

Born in Scran­ton, daugh­ter of the late Edward J. and Mary T. Reimer Con­nors, she was a mem­ber of St. John Neu­mann Parish. A grad­u­ate of South Catholic High School and Em­pire Beauty School, she was self-em­ployed in the beauty in­dus­try. Deb­bie had a love of life, loved her fam­ily and she had a heart of gold.

Sur­viv­ing are two broth­ers, Edward Con­nors and wife, Nancy, South Abing­ton Twp.; and Robert Con­nors and wife, Linda, Scran­ton; many nieces, neph­ews, great-nieces and great-neph­ews; and her for­mer hus­band, Rick Klens, Scran­ton.

She was also pre­ceded in death by a brother, Pa­trick Con­nors; and a niece, Michelle Con­nors.

A Mass of Chris­tian Burial will be cel­e­brated Wed­nes­day at 10:30 a.m. in Nativity of Our Lord Church, St. John Neu­mann Parish, 633 Or­chard St., Scran­ton. Inurn­ment, pri­vate at the con­ve­nience of the fam­ily.
