Police seize 300 edible marijuana products

LAWRENCE >> Police concluded a six-month investigat­ion Wednesday when they arrested a township man and confiscate­d more than 300 edible marijuana products.

Michael Lester, 26, was arrested after he allegedly received a 22-pound package in the mail that contained more than 300 edible marijuana products valued at approximat­ely $9,000.

Officials say further investigat­ion uncovered additional edible marijuana products, marijuana extracts, hashish and oils that belonged to Lester.

During the investigat­ion, detectives also found drug packaging materials, scales, packing machines

and a money counter.

Police also seized more than $50,000 in cash and two vehicles, as suspected proceeds from drug sales.

Lester is charged with several drug possession and distributi­on offenses. He was released from police custody on $75,000 bail.
