Ga­mael Oliver-Peter­son “Shobee,” 63, of Ewing, NJ departed this life on Thurs­day, Fe­bru­ary 9, 2017 at Aria Health Bucks County, Langhorne, PA.

Born in Tren­ton, NJ, Ga­mael was a grad­u­ate of Tren­ton Cen­tral High School. She con­tin­ued her ed­u­ca­tion at Mercer County Com­mu­nity Col­lege re­ceiv­ing an As­so­ciate’s De­gree. She was em­ployed by the U.S. Postal Ser­vice in Hamil­ton for many years be­fore re­tir­ing.

Pre­de­ceased by her par­ents, Ran­dolph and Bertha Mae Oliver and a sis­ter, Ran­d­rina Oliver; sur­viv­ing are her hus­band, Allen Peter­son, Sr.; a son, Allen Peter­son, Jr. (Keny­atta); three daugh­ters, Tanya (Will), Kenya Peter­son and Ashantee Ervin (Aaron); nine grand­chil­dren; three great grand­chil­dren; one brother, Kazi Oliver; five sis­ters, De­tri, Adriene and Vic­to­ria Oliver, Denise and Anya Bat­tle; two broth­ersin-law, Floyd and Gre­gory Peter­son; three sis­tersin-law, Pat Peter­son (Tony), Bev­erly Law­ery (Larry) and Hen­ri­etta Styles; one god brother, Sylvester “Bo” Gore and one god sis­ter, Gwendolyn Grier; two aunts, Betty Brown and Thelma Sharper; one un­cle, Ah­mad Ali; six nieces; nine neph­ews; 13 great nieces; 16 great neph­ews and a host of cousins and friends.

Fu­neral Ser­vices will be Fri­day, Fe­bru­ary 16, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Camp­bell Fu­neral Chapel, 1225 Cal­houn St., Tren­ton, NJ.

In­ter­ment will be Brig. Gen. Wil­liam C Doyle Veter­ans Me­mo­rial Ceme­tery in Ar­ney­town, NJ.

Call­ing hours will be Fri­day, from 1 to 2 p.m., at the chapel.
