Re­becca Hall of Ewing

Re­becca Hall, 102, departed this life for eter­nal rest Fe­bru­ary 9, 2017, at Pre­ferred Care at Mercer, Ewing.

She was ac­tive as a mem­ber of the NAACP, Nurse’s Coun­cil of Tren­ton and Vicin­ity, Nurses of the Eastern Star Lady Ruth Chap­ter #12, Supreme Deputy for Eastern Star, The Elks, and the Se­nior Ci­ti­zen Group. She joined St. Paul A.M.E. Zion Church in the late 1950s and held var­i­ous po­si­tions in sev­eral min­istries.

In ad­di­tion to her par­ents, Charley and Emma Gray, Mrs. Hall was pre­de­ceased by her hus­band, Thomas Hall. She leaves to for­ever cher­ish her lov­ing mem­o­ries her chil­dren, Sa­muel Hard­wick and Ethel John­son; 14 grand­chil­dren; 24 great grand­chil­dren; and a host of other rel­a­tives and com­mu­nity friends.

Me­mo­rial ser­vices will be held Fe­bru­ary 17, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul AME Church, 1130 Lower Ferry Rd, Ewing.
