Trenton

Drugs: Police arrested Jaquan M. Bland around 5:55p.m. on Tuesday in the area of Lenape and West State Street after receiving calls for a male allegedly selling narcotics there. Upon arrival police located and arrested Bland. Police ended up recovering 15 decks of heroin, three grams of marijuana and $103. Police also arrested George G. Martz, 31, of Freehold for possession of CDS.

Trespasser­s: Police arrested four people after they had received a report of shots fired in the first block of Wall Street on Tuesday

around 5:44 p.m. Police said that they spoke with the victim whose second-floor

bedroom window had been shot at. During their investigat­ion police determined that the shot came from directly across the street. Officers located an abandoned building in the first block of Monmouth Place which they then searched. Two men, Abdul Jamil Hill, 21, of Philadelph­ia, and Kenneth A. Townsend, 25, of Jersey City fled the scene on foot before they were apprehende­d on Wall Street. Police encountere­d 19-yearold Daquan Patton and 24-year-old Raymond Fisher inside of the abandoned residence. All four were arrested and charged with defiant trespass. Townsend and Hill also received charges of resisting arrest; both had outstandin­g warrants for their arrest, police records showed. Trenton Police Lt. Stephen Varn said that no gun was located, but there was ammunition found on the second floor of

the abandoned home.

Assault: Police arrested two men after they assaulted a 29-year-old man during an argument in the early morning hours on Wednesday. Trenton Police Lt. Stephen Varn said that the victim had been embroiled in a verbal argument with Josue and Alejandro Hernandez, ages 21and 24respecti­vely, inside of a house in the 200block of Pearl Street. During the argument, the victim was struck with a closed fist, though it’s not clear who threw the punch, or punches. Police said that the victim refused medical attention. The Hernandeze­s were charged with simple assault.

Ewing

Assault: On Tuesday at 8:20 p.m., police said that a juvenile reported he was assaulted at Somerset park after making threats.

Warrant: Police arrested Benjamin Weeks, 38, of Ewing after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation around 12:19 p.m. at Parkway and Olden Avenues. He was found to have Trenton, Lawrence and Hamilton warrants. He was arrested, processed and turned over to the Lawrence Police Department, police said.

Thefts: Police said that on Tuesday around 8a.m. they received reports of overnight thefts from vehicles on Violet and Petal Lanes. It was not specified as to what was taken, or if the vehicles were unlocked at the time.
