The Trentonian (Trenton, NJ) - - OPINION -

I have a question for the entire country. What is the difference between a Nazi concentration camp and a plantation? For years, blacks had been enslaved at plantations throughout the United States, and no one gives a good damn about that, or at least it appears. You always hear about Nazi this and Nazi camp that with everyone from the Jews to the Gentiles wanting retribution. We don’t get anything except more trouble just for being black Americans trying to survive in white America. Explain that one to me. When do we get our property and pride back that was taken from us?

Atrocity is atrocity. They are both awful. Nothing we can do will undo those atrocities. Moving forward, hopefully we can learn to treat all people equally.
