Ec­stasy Bust: Michael Hightower, 42, and Isa­iah York, 22, were charged over the week­end af­ter po­lice al­legedly found 20 ec­stasy pills, 60 Oxy­codone pills, brass knuck­les, a ba­ton and a loaded hand­gun dur­ing a traf­fic stop on East State Street. Of­fi­cials say cops ini­tially stopped the pair af­ter they saw Hightower speed­ing in a ve­hi­cle. Hightower is the only one charged with drug and weapons of­fenses. York was charged with re­sist­ing ar­rest and ob­struct­ing the ad­min­is­tra­tion of law af­ter he al­legedly re­fused po­lice

or­ders to exit the car. Do­mes­tic Vi­o­lence: Maria Co­jom, 28, was ar­rested Sun­day af­ter she al­legedly cut her boyfriend with a knife and smashed a beer bot­tle over an­other man’s head. Of­fi­cials say the al­ter­ca­tion stemmed from an ar­gu­ment be­tween Co­jom and her boyfriend, which turned phys­i­cal when she grabbed a kitchen knife and held it against his neck, caus­ing a small lac­er­a­tion. One of the vic­tim’s friends in­ter­vened, ac­cord­ing to po­lice who say Co­jom then grabbed a beer bot­tle and hit the man in the head. The man who was hit with the bot­tle suf­fered a gash to his head that re­quired treat­ment at the hos­pi­tal. Co­jom is charged with two counts of ag­gra­vated as­sault and re­lated weapons of­fenses.

Do­mes­tic As­sault: Wil­fredo Gon­za­lez Jr., 44, was ar­rested over the week­end af­ter he al­legedly tried to stab an ex-in-law with a knife. The fe­male vic­tim told po­lice she tried to use the re­stroom at an exin-law’s house on Turpin Street when Gon­za­lez grabbed a knife and threat­ened her. The woman then ran out­side, of­fi­cials say, but Gon­za­lez fol­lowed her and tried to punc­ture her ve­hi­cle tires with the knife. When the woman tried to stop him, po­lice say, Gon­za­lez punched her in the ribs, grabbed her neck and tried to stab her. An­other woman then in­ter­vened and the vic­tim jumped in the ve­hi­cle and locked the doors. Gon­za­lez fled be­fore po­lice ar­rived, but cops later found him on Fed­eral Street. Gon­za­lez is charged with ag­gra­vated as­sault, sim­ple as­sault and ter­ror­is­tic threats.

More Do­mes­tic Vi­o­lence: Dwayne Everett Jr., 29, was ar­rested in con­nec­tion with a Septem­ber 10 in­ci­dent, dur­ing which he al­legedly choked and punched his child’s mother in front of the kid. Everett is charged with sim­ple as­sault and en­dan­ger­ing the wel­fare of a child.

Heroin and Crack Pipes: Nathaniel Davies, 35, was ar­rested over the week­end af­ter po­lice al­legedly found him in pos­ses­sion of 40 decks of heroin, two crack pipes and hol­low-point am­mu­ni­tion. Po­lice say cops en­coun­tered Davies af­ter they wit­nessed an al­leged drug deal, and that he dropped the drugs and ammo as he ran from de­tec­tives.

Coke, Pills and Weed: Tony Fer­gu­son, 42, was ar­rested over the week­end af­ter po­lice al­legedly found him in pos­ses­sion of a loaded hand­gun, eight grams of co­caine, 45 grams of mar­i­juana and two Oxy­codone pills. Po­lice en­coun­tered Fer­gu­son af­ter re­ceiv­ing a re­port about a man with a gun at Cham­pi­onship Sports Bar & Grill.

Ben­salem, Pa.

Casino As­sault: Justin Des­mond, 31, of Hun­tersville, NC, was ar­rested Sun­day af­ter he al­legedly punched a 66-year-old Tren­ton man in the face inside Parx Casino. Po­lice say Des­mond punched the man in the left side of the face, and that the vic­tim struck his head on the gam­ing floor, re­quir­ing med­i­cal at­ten­tion. The vic­tim also suf­fered a lac­er­a­tion above his eye, which re­quired stitches
