Ecstasy Bust: Michael Hightower, 42, and Isaiah York, 22, were charged over the weekend after police allegedly found 20 ecstasy pills, 60 Oxycodone pills, brass knuckles, a baton and a loaded handgun during a traffic stop on East State Street. Officials say cops initially stopped the pair after they saw Hightower speeding in a vehicle. Hightower is the only one charged with drug and weapons offenses. York was charged with resisting arrest and obstructin­g the administra­tion of law after he allegedly refused police

orders to exit the car. Domestic Violence: Maria Cojom, 28, was arrested Sunday after she allegedly cut her boyfriend with a knife and smashed a beer bottle over another man’s head. Officials say the altercatio­n stemmed from an argument between Cojom and her boyfriend, which turned physical when she grabbed a kitchen knife and held it against his neck, causing a small laceration. One of the victim’s friends intervened, according to police who say Cojom then grabbed a beer bottle and hit the man in the head. The man who was hit with the bottle suffered a gash to his head that required treatment at the hospital. Cojom is charged with two counts of aggravated assault and related weapons offenses.

Domestic Assault: Wilfredo Gonzalez Jr., 44, was arrested over the weekend after he allegedly tried to stab an ex-in-law with a knife. The female victim told police she tried to use the restroom at an exin-law’s house on Turpin Street when Gonzalez grabbed a knife and threatened her. The woman then ran outside, officials say, but Gonzalez followed her and tried to puncture her vehicle tires with the knife. When the woman tried to stop him, police say, Gonzalez punched her in the ribs, grabbed her neck and tried to stab her. Another woman then intervened and the victim jumped in the vehicle and locked the doors. Gonzalez fled before police arrived, but cops later found him on Federal Street. Gonzalez is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and terroristi­c threats.

More Domestic Violence: Dwayne Everett Jr., 29, was arrested in connection with a September 10 incident, during which he allegedly choked and punched his child’s mother in front of the kid. Everett is charged with simple assault and endangerin­g the welfare of a child.

Heroin and Crack Pipes: Nathaniel Davies, 35, was arrested over the weekend after police allegedly found him in possession of 40 decks of heroin, two crack pipes and hollow-point ammunition. Police say cops encountere­d Davies after they witnessed an alleged drug deal, and that he dropped the drugs and ammo as he ran from detectives.

Coke, Pills and Weed: Tony Ferguson, 42, was arrested over the weekend after police allegedly found him in possession of a loaded handgun, eight grams of cocaine, 45 grams of marijuana and two Oxycodone pills. Police encountere­d Ferguson after receiving a report about a man with a gun at Championsh­ip Sports Bar & Grill.

Bensalem, Pa.

Casino Assault: Justin Desmond, 31, of Huntersvil­le, NC, was arrested Sunday after he allegedly punched a 66-year-old Trenton man in the face inside Parx Casino. Police say Desmond punched the man in the left side of the face, and that the victim struck his head on the gaming floor, requiring medical attention. The victim also suffered a laceration above his eye, which required stitches
