Not-so-thrifty thrift stores

This is regarding the Red White and Blue store on Nottingham Way and the Salvation Army store. They’re overpriced when you go in there now. The prices are almost as much as Walmart. The it’s supposed to be a place where people can afford things and it’s not. Someone needs to open up a store to go in direct competition with the Red White and Blue and Salvation Army store. As a frequent shopper of thrift stores, I can back you, but it’s not just those ones. Red White and Blue is definitely one of the most pricey thrift stores I’ve seen, but lots of them have been creeping higher in recent years. You can still find some good deals, but they are fewer and further between. I just wanted to thank the nice lady in a white SUV. She stopped and made sure I was able to get up and continue walking with my granddaughter. She didn’t have to stop and I appreciate that. I thanked her then, but I wanted to put it in the paper, just to thank my guardian angel. I was glad she was there to help me.
