Domestic Violence: Kenny David Jr., 28, was arrested in connection with an Aug. 25incident in which the victim told cops he punched her in the face during an argument after she got home in the earlymorning hours. The woman was treated at the hospital for a fractured orbital bone. Cops finally caught up to David, the boyfriend, who was charged with aggravated assault.
Sex Assault: Maynor Alvarado-Jimenez, 18, is accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl. Officers responded to the 400block of Hamilton Avenue. The victim’s father said her daughter had been living with her 19-yearold boyfriend. Cops found the two upstairs in the bedroom. The victim and Jimenez admitted they had sex while living together. The victim was taken home, and Alvarado-Jimenez was charged with aggravated sexual assault.
Roomie Beaten: Ronal Agustin-Lima, 37, was charged with assaulting his roommate. Cops responded to the 100block of Division Street, where they found the victim bleeding fromthe back of his head. The victim told cops that Agustin-Lima struck him in the head with a beer bottle. The suspect admitted hitting the victim in the back of the head and was locked up on aggravated assault and weapons offenses.
Homeless Stabbing: A man was stabbed on the first block of Yard Avenue around 11:48p.m. last week. Police were looking for a heavy-set suspect who was wearing a white mask or a bag that covered his face. A worker near the Channel 6building by the Trenton train station received a call that a witness saw who saw the man stabbing a sleeping homeless man, between 50 and 60years old, who suffered wounds to his neck, chest, back, arm. He was in critical but stable condition at Capital Health Regional Medical Center. No arrests have been announced. Shooting: A man was shot playing cards on the first block of Damon Street around 5:21 p.m. Sunday. The victim was shot in the arm by two suspects. The Shooting Response Team is investigating.
Kifee Dillard, 22, was charged with stalking after violating a restraining order. He was caught on a neighbor’s video surveillance stealing his ex-girflriend’s video Ring camera, her license and a temporary tag off another vehicle. He was also leaving her harassing messages saying he was going to kill her and her daughter. Police put warrants out for him and arrested him over the weekend. He was charged with stalking, harassment, contempt and theft.
What a Weirdo: Jonathan Diaz, 30, was arrested over the weekend for making a false report to law enforcement. It happened in May of this year when he went to police headquarters and said he was at the CVS on the 1200block of Greenwood Avenue when a woman pulled up next to him and asked him where the nearest gas station was. She then allegedly pointed a gun at him and robbed him of $300. He claimed he followed her for as long as she could and took a video clip of her vehicle. Detectives looked up the license plate and found the owner. She told a far different story: She said she met Diaz to buy $200 in weed and left. She had a whole conversation with him over Facebook making arrangements to buy the marijuana and allowed detectives to print that out. The woman told cops that Diaz wanted the marijuana it back and that’s why he followed her. Diaz admitted making up the robbery story to get back at the woman. He was charged with making a false report to law enforcement.
Two for One: Ryan Lopez, 22, of Ewing, was arrested on Home Avenue and Jersey Street. Lopez was nabbed on weapons and drug charges. Deonte Harris, 22, was also arrested. Officers saw a gray Kia parked in the middle of the street near the intersection. Lopez was throwing tobacco out the window. Officers thought he was rolling a blunt and later smelled burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle. Cops saw a handgun next to Lopez’s feet.
