Detour Set on Northbound I-395

The Washington Post Sunday - - The Region -

Traffic in the regular northbound lanes of Interstate 395 is scheduled to be detoured tomorrow night and Tuesday morning for construction work at the Springfield interchange project. All northbound lanes between the Commerce Street Bridge and Edsall Road will be closed between 9:30 p.m. tomorrow and 5 a.m. Tuesday.

Motorists are encouraged to avoid the highway or use the HOV lanes, which will be operating in the northbound direction during the closure.

Drivers who do not take the HOV lanes will be detoured from the Capital Beltway’s inner loop to Braddock Road and onto the outer loop to Exit 57B, where they can take a new ramp onto I-395 north.
