One of vic­tims is ar­rested at TV town hall

tuc­son — Ari­zona shoot­ing vic­tim James Eric Fuller was ar­rested Satur­day and taken for a psy­chi­atric eval­u­a­tion af­ter al­legedly pho­tograph­ing a tea party leader at a gath­er­ing or­ga­nized by ABC and yelling: “You’re dead.”

Au­thor­i­ties said Fuller, 63, ob­jected to some­thing Trent Humphries said dur­ing the fo­rum taped for an ABC spe­cial. He ap­par­ently be­came up­set when Humphries sug­gested that any con­ver­sa­tions about gun con­trol be de­layed un­til all the dead were buried, ac­cord­ing to news re­ports.

An of­fi­cer tried to es­cort Fuller out, and deputies de­cided he need-ed to be ex­am­ined by a psy­chi­a­trist. Fuller was in­vol­un­tar­ily com­mit­ted for a min­i­mum of 72 hours. He is ex­pected to be charged with mis­de­meanor dis­or­derly con­duct and threat­en­ing.

The fo­rum— taped for a spe­cial edi­tion of ABC’s “ ThisWeek” with Chris­tiane Aman­pour, ac­cord­ing to re­ports— brought to­gether vic­tims, wit­nesses, emer­gency re­spon­ders to dis­cuss the shoot­ing.
