Derrick Williams, Arizona
Two games after scoring 30 points against California, the sophomore forward hit that mark again, putting up 31 points along with 10 rebounds in the Wildcats’ 80-69 win over rival Arizona State. Williams led Arizona in scoring, rebounding and field goal percentage as a freshman last season, and is doing the same this season for the 15-3 Wildcats, who are making some noise in Coach Sean Miller’s second season. Williams is the only Arizona player averaging double digits in scoring, but the Wildcats have nine players
averaging at least 4.8 points per game.
