The tech-gi­ant’s quar­terly rev­enue climbed to $27 bil­lion and profit grew to $6 bil­lion (up 78 per­cent) on ro­bust iPhone sales dur­ing the hol­i­days. The sec­ond-largest U.S. com­pany by mar­ket cap­i­tal­iza­tion (be­hind Exxon Mo­bil) has riled share­hold­ers by not is­su­ing a cash div­i­dend. Its $50 bil­lion cash pile is ex­pected to bal­loon to $70 bil­lion by year end.
