Raising a glass for Congress
The Atlantic and National Journal toasted the 113th Congress on Feb. 11 in honor of President Obama’s fourth State of the Union, at the Library of Congress.

Roommates from the days they worked as Hill staffers: Rep. Ann Kuster (D-N.H.) and Sydney McNiff Johnson, a principal for SNR Denton. 3. Kramer R. Phillips, president of KPR media, toasts Poppy MacDonald, senior vice president of the National Journal Group.
4. Rep. Brad Schneider (D-Ill.). 5. Debbie Gebhardt, chief of staff for Rep. Tom Petri (R-Wis.), and John Monsif, chief of staff for Rep. John Delaney (D-Md.). 6. Featured speaker Sen. Mark Begich (D-Alaska).
7. Rep. John Delaney (D-Md.). 8. Mortimer Sellers, regents professor at the University System of Maryland, with James H. Billington, the 13th librarian of Congress. 9. Rep. Don Young (R-Alaska) and Sen. John Hoeven (R-N.D.), both of whom were featured speakers and gave the incoming freshmen tidbits of advice. 10. Featured speaker Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson (D-Tex.) gave the freshmen sage advice.
