The video game re­tailer Game Stop has agreed to buy Fair­fax, Va.-based Geeknet, par­ent of the on­line nov­elty store Think Geek, in a deal worth $103 mil­lion. Geeknet said it ter­mi­nated plans to merge with teen cloth­ing re­tailer Hot Topic.

Three’s com­pany:

Revo­lu­tion Growth — the in­vest­ment firm founded by Steve Case, Ted Leon­sis and Donn Davis — is rais­ing a new $450 mil­lion fund to in­vest in young com­pa­nies, ac­cord­ing to a re­cent fil­ing with the Se­cu­ri­ties and Ex­change Com­mis­sion. The fund would be its third.

The car-shar­ing ser­vice Zip­car said it has added 35 more D.C. lo­ca­tions to serve ar­eas such as Lo­gan Cir­cle, Brook­land and Capitol Hill and plans to sta­tion dozens of cars in Wards 7 and 8. It now has 950 ve­hi­cles on D.C. streets and is ex­pand­ing its of­fice space in Penn Quar­ter.
