July 3 front-page ar­ti­cle pro­vided an in­cor­rect ti­tle for Kica Matos. She is the di­rec­tor of im­mi­grant rights and racial jus­tice at the Cen­ter for Com­mu­nity Change in Washington.

July 3 front-page ar­ti­cle on the Jus­tice Depart­ment set­tle­ment with BP over the 2010 oil spill in­cor­rectly stated that the Supreme Court had de­nied BP’s pe­ti­tion to over­rule a dis­trict court find­ing that BP was guilty of gross neg­li­gence. BP’s pe­ti­tion was still pend­ing at the time of the set­tle­ment.
