Starter: Todd Frazier, Reds
Backups: Nolan Arenado, Rockies; Maikel Franco, Phillies
Flip a coin. Frazier has 25 homers, 54 RBI, a .600 slugging percentage and a .941 OPS. Arenado has 24 homers, leads the majors with 68 RBI and has compiled a .603 slugging percentage and a .918 OPS. The hometown guy gets the nod. There’s an inclination to include Cubs rookie Kris Bryant, but we need a Phillie, and in just 46 games, Franco has 10 homers, 34 RBI and a .299/.342/ .543 slash line that’s good for an .885 OPS.
