Greece lays out new banking restrictions
Greek banks are to reopen Monday after a forced three-week closure, but restrictions on cash withdrawals will remain. In a decree Saturday, the Greek government kept the daily cash withdrawal limit at 60 euros, or about $65, but added a weekly limit of up to 420 euros. Bank customers will still not be able to cash checks but can deposit them, and they will not be able to send cash abroad with their credit or cash cards
but can use them for purchases.
