Yuki for­gets to take the day off

AR­LING­TON, S. Wal­ter Reed Dr., 2900 block, af­ter­noon July 4. An an­i­mal con­trol of­fi­cer im­pounded a fe­male dog found sit­ting out­side a shop closed for In­de­pen­dence Day. The dog, named Yuki, was soon re­united with her owner, an em­ployee of the busi­ness. The owner said that Yuki regularly walks a short dis­tance from home to the shop on the owner’s work­days. On July 4, she es­caped out a door at home, went to the shop and waited in vain.
