The 11 that got away

In a season of missed and blown chances for the Nationals, these losses were in a league of their own

The Washington Post Sunday - - SPORTS - BY JAMES WAGNER

The Nationals end their season Sunday, setting up a long winter of wondering what might have been for players and fans. For all the highlights of 2015— Max Scherzer’s two nohitters (including the 17strikeout gem at Citi Field on Saturday night), Bryce Harper’s MVP worthy season— the lowlights were pretty low. These are 11 games the Nationals probably should have won and didn’t, games that made a difference between winning and losing the division.
