HIGHEST WIN EXPECTANCY 81 percent

The Washington Post Sunday - - SPORTS -

Synopsis: The first of three straight gut-wrenching losses. The Nationals had leads in the sixth inning or later in each and blew all three games. On this day, the Nationals erased a three-run deficit with Wilson Ramos’s grand slam in the fourth. But Max Scherzer gave up a run in the fifth and another in the sixth. Then the bullpen couldn’t keep the game tied. Blake Treinen, Felipe Rivero, Casey Janssen and Matt Thornton all played a role in the three-run seventh.
