Nolan’s pass­ing leads way for Hoyas

Kyle Nolan passed for a ca­reer-high five touch­downs, lead­ing Georgetown to a dom­i­nant 38-7 win over vis­it­ing Lafayette on Satur­day.

Matt Buck­man and Jake DeCicco both had a pair of touch­down catches for Georgetown (3-3, 1-0 Pa­triot League). Buck­man’s sec­ond score put the Hoyas up 17-0 in the sec­ond quar­ter, while both of DeCicco’s tal­lies came in the sec­ond half. DeCicco had 124 yards on seven catches and 6, JustinHill also had a touch­down grab and Jo’el Kim­pela added 84 yards rush­ing on 14 at­tempts.

Drew Reed found Matt Mrazek for a five-yard score for the Leop­ards (1-5, 0-2) late in the sec­ond quar­ter.

Nolan fin­ished 28 of 36 for 311 yards and passed Isa­iah Kempf as the school’s all-time leader in com­ple­tions.

lJMU 51, TOW­SON 30: Vad Lee fin­ished 22-of-29 pass­ing for 233 yards and five touch­downs to lead the vis­it­ing Dukes (6-0, 3-0 Colo­nial Ath­letic As­so­ci­a­tion). Khalid Ab­dul­lah rushed for 149 yards, and Ryan Maglio kicked three field goals.

Con­nor Fra­zier had 176 yards pass­ing with three touch­downs for the Tigers (2-3, 0-2).

lRICHMOND 27, ELON 14: Seth Fisher ran for 119 yards, and Ja­cobi Green added 101 on the ground and two touch­downs for the host Spi­ders.

Kyle Lauletta threw for 195 yards on 15-of-19 pass­ing for Rich­mond (4-1, 2-0 CAA), which led 27-0 be­fore the Phoenix (2-4, 1-2) scored twice in the game’s last six min­utes.

l WIL­LIAM AND MARY 38, VIL­LANOVA 16: Ken­dell An­der­son ran for 149 yards and three touch­downs to spark the Tribe in Philadelphia.

Steve Clu­ley fin­ished 16 of 28 for 267 yards for Wil­liam andMary (3-2, 2-1 CAA). The Wild­cats fell to 2-3, 1-1.

lRHODE IS­LAND 20, DELAWARE 0: In Kingston, R.I., Harold Cooper ran for a ca­reer-best 123 yards and a touch­down as the Rams picked up their first vic­tory.

Rhode Is­land (1-5, 1-2 CAA) posted its first shutout since a 3-0 win over Maine in 2006, 100 games ago.

The Rams, who did not com­mit a turnover, in­ter­cepted Blue Hens quar­ter­back Joe Walker three times.

Justin Rohrwasser kicked field goals of 28 and 41 yards. Delaware fell to 2-4, 1-2.

l CATHOLIC 28, RANDOLPH20: T.J.Tu tone passed for 300 yards and two touch­downs to lead the Car­di­nals at home.

Lu­cas Mor­ley caught 10 passes for 112 yards and both touch­downs for Catholic (3-2, 1-1 Old Do­min­ion Ath­letic Con­fer­ence). Bubby Mor­gan passed for 275 yards for the Yel­low Jack­ets (0-2, 1-4).

lMORGAN STATE 42, SA­VAN­NAH ST. 3: Moses Skil­lon threw one touch­down pass and ran for two more scores to help the Bears (3-2, 3-0 MidEastern Ath­letic Con­fer­ence) romp in Bal­ti­more.

Skil­lon had 134 yards pass­ing and ran for another 104. The Tigers fell to 1-4, 1-2.

l SAM­FORD 49, VMI 13: Michael Eubank com­pleted 31 of 42 passes for 337 yards and three touch­downs to lead the Bull­dogs (3-2, 1-1 South­ern Con­fer­ence). Dane For­lines had seven catches for 106 yards for the Key­dets (1-5, 0-2).

l N.C. A&T 27, NOR­FOLK ST. 3: Tarik Co­hen ran for 152 yards and a touch­down and threw for another to pace the Ag­gies (4-1, 2-0 MEAC) to a road win. The Spar­tans are 2-4, 2-1.

lSHEPHERD 48, GLENVILLE ST. 31: Jeff Ziemba com­pleted 17 of 28 passes for 292 yards and three touch­downs to lead the Rams (5-0, 5-0 Moun­tain East) in Glenville, W.Va.
