Woman’s hair ablaze during inauguration
In what appeared to be an untoward Inauguration Day event, hair was set on fire on the parade route on Jan. 20, D.C. police said.
The incident occurred about 2 p.m. in the 700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue NW, police said in a statement released Saturday. The victim was described only as female, and no age was given.
A lighter was used, police said. No reason for the attack was provided. Police said they received numerous tips but have been unable to identify a person of interest.
