The On Love col­umn about Alex Moe and Derek Flow­ers in to­day’s Arts & Style sec­tion, which was printed in ad­vance, in­cor­rectly says that Moe moved to Iowa in 2011 to cover Newt Gin­grich’s pres­i­den­tial cam­paign for NBC News. She moved there to cover the Iowa cau­cuses cam­paign and later cov­ered Gin­grich’s bid. The col­umn also says that Moe was sent to Philadel­phia in 2016 to help in­ter­view pres­i­den­tial can­di­date Bernie San­ders. The in­ter­view was in Read­ing, Pa.

A Feb. 2 Sports ar­ti­cle about Cathy L. Lanier, the NFL’s se­nior vice pres­i­dent of se­cu­rity, in­cor­rectly said that the league’s han­dling of the 2014 do­mes­tic as­sault case in­volv­ing run­ning back Ray Rice led to the res­ig­na­tion of NFL se­cu­rity chief Jef­frey Miller. Miller con­tin­ued in that role un­til he left for a job with a pri­vate se­cu­rity firm in 2016. The Wash­ing­ton Post is com­mit­ted to cor­rect­ing er­rors that ap­pear in the news­pa­per.
