Opened in 1939, Win­ter Park is one of Colorado’s old­est ski re­sorts. Fea­tur­ing 3,081 acres and av­er­ag­ing 324 inches of snow­fall a year, the re­sort is also home to a pop­u­lar snows­ports school, the Na­tional Sports Cen­ter for the Dis­abled, and a range of non-ski­ing ac­tiv­i­ties.
