Regarding the March 16 front-page article

The Washington Post Sunday - - SUNDAY OPINION -

“Trump seeks deep federal cuts”:

What we spend money on says something about what we value. The president, through his proposed budget cuts, is making quite a statement about what he does not value. He apparently has no use for food safety, medical research, climate change, public education, urban development, opportunities for low-income people to purchase a home, job training, air travel safety, anything that sounds artsy — the list goes on. He also seems to not care a whit about those pesky Internal Revenue Service agents who, if they keep their jobs, might mess with him.
