Team­ing up: Hanover, Md.-based Keyw has agreed to ac­quire Sotera De­fense So­lu­tions of Hern­don, Va., in a deal val­ued at $235 mil­lion. The com­bined gov­ern­ment con­tract­ing com­pany — fo­cused on na­tional se­cu­rity tech­nol­ogy prod­ucts and ser­vice — is pro­jected to gen­er­ate $535 mil­lion in rev­enue, Keyw said.

Say­ing good­bye: The Chicagob­ased on­line deals com­pany Groupon has served no­tice that it plans to lay off 95 Liv­ingSo­cial em­ploy­ees in Washington be­gin­ning April 23. Groupon ac­quired ri­val Liv­ingSo­cial last year.

More money: WeWork, a New York­based provider of co-work­ing space, said it is launch­ing a new $20 mil­lion ef­fort to give grants to in­di­vid­u­als, com­pa­nies and non­profit or­ga­ni­za­tions. The com­pany said it would de­but its Cre­ator Awards on March 28 in Washington. Win­ners will be se­lected on the ba­sis of a pitch com­pe­ti­tion.
