Some New York apart­ments are the size of a closet, while some lit­er­ally are clos­ets — like the room where Kimmy lives in the dwelling she shares with her room­mate, Ti­tus. But liv­ing in rooms that are not legally “rooms” is pretty par for the course for broke dream­ers try­ing to make it in the Big Ap­ple.
