Sgt. Eric M. Houck, 25, of Bal­ti­more The three sol­diers were as­signed to Head­quar­ters and Head­quar­ters Bat­tery, 3rd Bat­tal­ion, 320th Field Ar­tillery Reg­i­ment and Com­pany D, 1st Bat­tal­ion, 187th In­fantry Reg­i­ment, 3rd Bri­gade Com­bat Team, 101st Air­borne Di­vi­sion (Air As­sault), based at Fort Camp­bell, Ky. They were killed June 10 in Nan­ga­har prov­ince.

To­tal fa­tal­i­ties in­clude six civil­ian em­ploy­ees of the De­fense Depart­ment. They also in­clude ser­vice mem­bers killed in other lo­ca­tions in­volved in Op­er­a­tion En­dur­ing Free­dom, in­clud­ing Guan­tanamo Bay, Cuba; Dji­bouti; Eritrea; Ethiopia; Jordan; Kenya; Kyr­gyzs­tan; Pak­istan; Philip­pines; Sey­chelles; Su­dan; Ta­jik­istan; Turkey; Uzbek­istan; and Ye­men.
