Man’s shooting death is ruled a homicide

The Washington Post Sunday - - COMMUTER -

The case of a man who was wounded in a 2015 shooting and died two years later has been declared a homicide, Prince George’s County police said.

Delonio Richburg, 22, of Annapolis was shot at about 1:30 a.m. along with another man on July 26, 2015, in the 3500 block of Hubbard Road, police said. They were admitted to a hospital in critical condition but were later released.

Richburg was taken to a hospital for a medical emergency on July 1 and died, police said. A medical examiner later determined he died of complications from the shooting and declared the case a homicide, police said.

The shooting was not random, police said.
