The Washington Post Sunday - - THE WORLD -

Deposed Pakistani prime minister Nawaz Sharif called Saturday for “a change and revolution” to ensure the sanctity of the vote as he addressed a large gathering of supporters in his home town of Lahore.

After a Supreme Court decision last month disqualified him for concealing assets, Sharif set out Wednesday with a convoy from Islamabad, making stops along the way.

Sharif said that during his journey, he saw that citizens had not accepted his removal from office, and he asked his supporters to await his next move, without elaborating.
