Honduran presidential race narrows:

The Washington Post - - THE WORLD -

New partial results in Honduras’s presidential election have narrowed challenger Salvador Nasralla’s lead over incumbent Juan Orlando Hernández to less than one point, raising tensions. A surprise fivepoint lead for Nasralla has steadily dwindled since initial results were reported. Now, with 76 percent of the votes tallied, the challenger had 42.6 percent and Hernández 41.7 percent. A long pause in updated returns that followed reports of Nasralla’s lead has fed suspicions among his supporters.
