Penguins’ Crosby closer to returning to action
PITTSBURGH | Penguins captain Sidney Crosby has been cleared for contact, a big step toward his return from concussion-like symptoms.
Crosby went through drills with his teammates Tuesday, the first time he’s been a full participant in practice since the symptoms returned after a loss to Boston on Dec. 5.
Crosby, 24, says he will play at the moment he is symptom free, but there remains no timetable for his return. The Penguins continue a fourgame homestand Wednesday against Toronto.
