Voters must choose freedom or control

The Washington Times Daily - - Opinion -

There has been significant discussion in the media concerning certain words uttered by radio personality Rush Limbaugh (“Fluke Limbaugh fallout: Carbonite now Kryptonite for investors,” Web, March 13). I was amazed at the speed with which the liberal media and politicians (including the president) rushed to grab this incident and make excellent political fodder of it.

This because Mr. Limbaugh handed the political left the ideal smoke screen on the contraception debate on a gold platter. Sorry to tell you, folks, this issue won’t go away.

The Obama rule forcing a church to go against its principles constitutes an open attack on the very institution of the church in America. I frankly believe that more and more Americans will be realizing the violence that has been perpetrated against our Constitution as it becomes clear that this year’s presidential election is about choosing between freedom and control.
