Maryland to face Boston College in Quick Lane Bowl
The Terrapins are going bowling in the Motor City.
Maryland will face Boston College in the Quick Lane Bowl in Detroit at 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 26.
It will be the third bowl appearance in four years and 27th all-time for Maryland. The bowl will be the 12th meeting between the schools who were both part of the ACC from 2005 to 2014.
The Terrapins (6-6) became bowl eligible on Nov. 26 by capturing their sixth victory of the season with a 31-13 win at home over Rutgers. That win snapped a fourgame losing streak for Maryland. The Terps were 4-0 to start the season and won five of their first seven games.
The game will be broadcast on ESPN and on radio at 950 AM.
