Linda McMahon picked to head Small Business Administration
President-elect Donald Trump announced Wednesday he would nominate former professional wrestling mogul Linda McMahon to run the Small Business Administration. Mrs. McMahon, the co-founder and former chief executive officer of World Wrestling Entertainment, said that she was honored to join the “incredibly impressive economic team” that Mr. Trump had assembled.
“Our small businesses are the largest source of job creation in our country,” she said.
After leaving WWE, Mrs. McMahon twice ran unsuccessfully for U.S. Senate in Connecticut. She also founded Women’s Leadership Live to boost women in the business world.
