De­ported 8 times, im­mi­grant ac­cused of fa­tal hit-and-run

The De­part­ment of Jus­tice con­firmed this week that an il­le­gal im­mi­grant ac­cused of killing two peo­ple in Kentucky had been de­ported eight times.

Miguel An­gel Vil­lasenor-Saucedo, 40, has a war­rant out for his ar­rest for a drunken car crash that killed two women in Louisville on Oct. 22. He was most re­cently de­ported in 2013 and re­mains at large.

“Vil­lasenor-Saucedo fled the scene and [Louisville Metro Po­lice De­part­ment] Of­fi­cers later ob­tained a Crim­i­nal Com­plaint from Jef­fer­son County District Court charg­ing Vil­lasenorSaucedo with Leav­ing the Scene of a Fa­tal Hit and Run Ac­ci­dent,” the Jus­tice De­part­ment said Wed­nes­day.

The state­ment said that fed­eral au­thor­i­ties dis­cov­ered that he was il­le­gally in the coun­try from Mex­ico and had been de­ported from the U.S. eight times.
