MOVIE “Frozen” / 8:00pm (7) The Dis­ney stu­dio added another an­i­mated smash to its in­ven­tory with this 2013 fan­tasy, adapted from Hans Chris­tian Andersen’s “The Snow Queen” and sparked by a woman (voice of Id­ina Men­zel) with the gift — and curse — of turn­ing any­thing, or any­one, to ice. She runs away to pre­vent hurt­ing those she loves, but her sis­ter (voice of Kris­ten Bell) goes in pur­suit.

Ash vs Evil Dead / 8:00pm (Starz) 9:05pm (Starz) 10:10pm (Starz) In the Sea­son 2 fi­nale, “Sec­ond Com­ing,” Ash, Ruby and Kelly (Bruce Camp­bell, Lucy Law­less, Dana DeLorenzo) are forced to battle the past in a des­per­ate bid to get to a fu­ture in which Pablo (Ray San­ti­ago) is alive and the world is safe, but the hellish forces have other ideas. Baal (guest star Joel Tobeck) and Ash en­gage in an old-fash­ioned brawl that may de­ter­mine the fate of hu­man­ity with its out­come.

Miller hosts this an­nual gala hon­or­ing the best in film and TV as voted by the mem­bers of the Broad­cast Film and TV Crit­ics As­so­ci­a­tions. In the TV cat­e­gories, “At­lanta,” “black-ish,” “Fleabag,” “Mod­ern Fam­ily,” “Sil­i­con Val­ley,” “Un­break­able Kimmy Sch­midt” and “Veep” vie for best com­edy se­ries; best drama nom­i­nees in­clude “Bet­ter Call Saul,” “Game of Thrones,” “Mr. Ro­bot,” “Stranger Things,” “The Crown,” “This Is Us” and “Westworld.”

The Li­brar­i­ans / 8:00pm (TNT) More than once, this se­ries has dropped nar­ra­tive bread­crumbs that Eve Baird (Re­becca Romijn), guardian to the Li­brar­i­ans, is des­tined to die in the line of duty, a day that may be ap­proach­ing in the new episode “And the Self-Ful­fill­ing Prophecy.” Af­ter ex­pe­ri­enc­ing an un­set­tling vi­sion of her death at the hands of some su­per­nat­u­ral as­sas­sin, Baird vows to do what­ever it takes to keep the fate­ful prophecy from com­ing true. Chris­tian Kane, Lindy Booth and John Kim also star.

“Frozen” airs Sun­day on ABC.
