County pros­e­cu­tor guilty of in­de­cent ex­po­sure

A Ce­cil County pros­e­cu­tor has been con­victed of in­de­cent ex­po­sure and dis­or­derly con­duct.

A Worces­ter County jury on Fri­day con­victed State’s At­tor­ney Ed­ward Rollins III on one count each of in­de­cent ex­po­sure and dis­or­derly con­duct but ac­quit­ted him on two sim­i­lar charges.

Rollins will be sen­tenced later. In­de­cent ex­po­sure car­ries up to three years in prison and a $1,000 fine.

Dis­or­derly con­duct is pun­ish­able by up to 60 days in jail and a $500 fine.

Rollins was ar­rested in June af­ter po­lice were called about a nude man on an Ocean City ho­tel bal­cony.

The trial in­cluded tes­ti­mony about Rollins mas­tur­bat­ing and hav­ing sex with his wife in front of the slid­ing glass door of his ho­tel room in full view of peo­ple in an ad­ja­cent con­do­minium.
