Teen killed, oth­ers in­jured in crash on In­ter­state 95

A 13-year-old boy has been killed in a multi-ve­hi­cle crash that shut down In­ter­state 95 north in Lau­rel.

Mary­land State Po­lice re­ceived a call Tues­day night about a dis­abled car in the north­bound lanes of I-95 near Route 200.

As troop­ers were re­spond­ing, a van and semitruck struck the dis­abled car.

A fourth ve­hi­cle also was struck as a re­sult of the ini­tial crash.

A 45-year-old wo­man and a 13-yearold boy who were rid­ing in the van were taken to the hos­pi­tal with lifethreat­en­ing in­juries.

The uniden­ti­fied teen died at the hos­pi­tal.

Two peo­ple in­side the dis­abled car were taken to the hos­pi­tal with non­life-threat­en­ing in­juries.
