I Want a Dog for Christ­mas, Char­lie Brown! / 8:00pm (7) Noth­ing can re­place the clas­sic “A Char­lie Brown Christ­mas,” but this an­i­mated spe­cial — first shown in 2003 — re­unites the up­dated Peanuts gang with the yule­tide sea­son. Li­nus and Lucy’s lit­tle brother, ReRun, needs stress re­lief. He goes to Snoopy for at­ten­tion and fun, but the ca­nine has plans that don’t in­clude the boy.

MOVIE “My Christ­mas Love” / 8:00pm (Hall­mark) A cynic might ob­serve that this new hol­i­day ro­mance seems to be set in an al­ter­nate uni­verse where stalk­ing isn’t a thing, but heart-on-their-sleeve ro­man­tics prob­a­bly will brush aside that ob­jec­tion. Mered­ith Hag­ner stars as one such lady, a woman in love with love, who is charmed when she be­gins re­ceiv­ing presents men­tioned in “The 12 Days of Christ­mas” from a mys­tery ad­mirer. Shaquille O’Neal Presents: All Star Com­edy Jam — Live From Sin City / 9:00pm (Show­time) Filmed over two nights last July dur­ing an event at Penn & Teller The­ater at Rio Las Ve­gas, this new spe­cial fea­tures some of the fastest ris­ing stars in com­edy. The lineup of per­form­ers who will ap­pear in this 90-minute tele­cast hasn’t

been con­firmed, but comics who ap­peared on stage last July in­clude Lavell Craw­ford, Bill Bel­lamy, Co­coa Brown, Don­nell Rawl­ings, K-Dubb, Bruce Bruce, Aida Ro­driguez and Brian Smith.

MOVIE “Miles Ahead” / 9:00pm (Starz) Don Chea­dle di­rected, co-wrote and stars in this 2015 mu­sic film that uses a jazz-like nar­ra­tive style to chron­i­cle the life and ca­reer of trum­peter Miles Davis (Chea­dle) as he tries to get his ca­reer back on track fol­low­ing a trou­bled pe­riod in the 1970s. Ewan McGre­gor, Emay­atzy Corinealdi, Lakeith Lee Stan­field and Michael Stuhlbarg also star in the film, which takes its ti­tle from a 1957 al­bum by Davis.

Bill Bel­lamy is among those fea­tured in “Shaquille O’Neal Presents: All Star Com­edy Jam – Live From Sin City” on Show­time.
