/ 8:00pm (4) It’s not the usual time of year for this show to ap­pear, but since the Yule­tide is made for wel­com­ing fa­mil­iar faces, why not? Some of the stand­outs of the con­test’s past sea­son re­turn for this new spe­cial — in­clud­ing the win­ner, young singer-song­writer Grace Van­der Waal — along with such veter­ans of the show as Jackie Evan­cho and Terry Fa­tor. Host Nick Can­non and judges Mel B, Si­mon Cow­ell, Heidi Klum and Howie Man­del are on hand. Pen­ta­tonix also is fea­tured.

Christ­mas With the Mor­mon Taber­na­cle Choir Fea­tur­ing Laura Osnes and Martin Jarvis

/ 9:00pm (22,26.4) The new­est edi­tion of the choir’s tra­di­tional con­cert spe­cial, recorded last hol­i­day sea­son at Utah’s Salt Lake Con­fer­ence Cen­ter, teams the 360 mem­bers of the choir with Broad­way star Osnes and Bri­tish ac­tor and voiceover tal­ent Jarvis. Sev­eral soloists from the Met­ro­pol­i­tan Opera also par­tic­i­pate: Ben Bliss, Erin Mor­ley, Ta­mara Mum­ford and Tyler Simp­son. Selec­tions in­clude “O Come, All Ye Faith­ful” and “Over the River and Through the Wood.”


/ 9:01pm (5) Mur­ders shown in videos posted on so­cial me­dia in­di­cate a serial killer is loose in “Sin-Eater.” Lu­cifer and Chloe (Tom Ellis, Lau­ren Ger­man) try to stop the per­pe­tra­tor be­fore other, sim­i­lar homi­cides can oc­cur. Lu­cifer’s mother (Tri­cia Helfer) resur­faces in the guise of Char­lotte. Strug­gling with be­ing pow­er­less, Ame­nadiel (DB Wood­side) seeks Linda’s (Rachael Har­ris) counsel. Robin Givens guest stars. Les­ley-Ann Brandt also stars.
