Some of the standouts of the contest’s past season return for this new special — including the winner, young singer-songwriter Grace Vander Waal — along with such veterans of the show as Jackie Evancho and Terry Fator. Host Nick Cannon and judges Mel B, Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel are on hand. Pentatonix also is featured.
Christmas With the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Featuring Laura Osnes and Martin Jarvis
/ 9:00pm (22,26.4) The newest edition of the choir’s traditional concert special, recorded last holiday season at Utah’s Salt Lake Conference Center, teams the 360 members of the choir with Broadway star Osnes and British actor and voiceover talent Jarvis. Several soloists from the Metropolitan Opera also participate: Ben Bliss, Erin Morley, Tamara Mumford and Tyler Simpson. Selections include “O Come, All Ye Faithful” and “Over the River and Through the Wood.”
