Bill Clin­ton says Trump lim­ited to ap­peals to ‘an­gry white men’

Pres­i­dent-elect Don­ald Trump knows “how to get an­gry, white men to vote for him,” for­mer Pres­i­dent Bill Clin­ton told a re­porter ear­lier this month in New York.

Ac­cord­ing to Politico, Mr. Clin­ton made the com­ment to a re­porter from The Record-Re­view at a book­store in Ka­tonah, New York — about a 15-minute drive from the Clin­tons’ home in Chap­paqua. The ex-pres­i­dent’s com­ments were only pub­lished in the news­pa­per’s print edi­tion, Politico re­ported Mon­day.

“He doesn’t know much. One thing he does know is how to get an­gry, white men to vote for him,” Mr. Clin­ton said of the pres­i­dent-elect, ac­cord­ing to The Record-Re­view.

Mr. Clin­ton also said FBI Di­rec­tor James B. Comey “cost [Hil­lary Clin­ton] the elec­tion” by an­nounc­ing that the FBI had re­opened its in­ves­ti­ga­tion of her email server days be­fore the vote.
